Note: Safari zones are open from October to June. During monsoon (July–September), only Buffer Zones (6–10) may be open in select months.
Safari Vehicle Options & Prices
There are two types of safari vehicles: Jeep Safari (Gypsy) and Canter Safari.

Safari Zones
Ranthambore National Park is divided into 10 zones. Zones 1–5 (core area) are historically known for higher tiger sightings.
Zones 1–5 are closed on Wednesdays due to weekly restriction, while other zones rotate their weekly closure as per forest department rules.
Best Time for Safari
- October – March: Peak season with cool temperatures & excellent wildlife visibility.
- April – June: Hot but high animal activity around waterholes.
- Monsoon (Jul – Sep): Core zones closed; limited safari in buffer zones.
Early morning safaris are typically best for tiger sightings.
